Moving is hard.
No stream yesterday, no stream today...I suck at this!
Actually, no (well, maybe, but...), it's just hard to get back into the swing of things after uprooting your life and moving so very far away. There are a LOT of boxes that still need to be unpacked, insurance things that need to be dealt with, internet that's slow...
Things are coming together, but I was too ambitious with my Monday pronouncement. I'm going to try to aim for tomorrow for doing at least a couple of hours of work on TTF, mostly because I have just about everything set up in terms of paperwork and such now. It's just a matter of unpacking and finding a new job now.
Oh, and schoolwork. Hooray.
Anyway, no one cares about all that shit. tl;dr, streaming tomorrow.

Whoops
You know what I totally forgot to do before I went to Florida for a vacation?
Mention that I was going to Florida for a vacation!
Left on Saturday, just got back. It was for my wife's birthday, so, you know, kind of important. Anyway, I'm moving on Saturday, then unpacking on Sunday, but I should have some free time on Monday, so hopefully there'll be time for a stream.
Sorry about that.

Back for More TTF Coding
Hopefully, my cat won't accidentally turn off the computer and cost me a couple of hours of work this time.
Edit: Nope, just Comcast decided I didn't need the internet for an hour. I kept going, but I have other stuff to do now, so no more stream for now.

So Many Things To Do This Week
So, obviously, I'm gonna blow them off and do some coding!
...but not of Cursed.
Instead, I'm clearing my head by trying desperately to finish an older game I never actually finished: Trials of Taihra-Firanae, which, if you're interested, can be downloaded here. Apparently, people really like it, but I got side-tracked by Cursed, and it was never finished. I actually have 90% of the stuff in the rest of the game planned out, it's just a matter of actually doing it, and I think I need to actually finish something to feel a sense of accomplishment.
Hopefully, it won't distract me too much from Cursed, which I will be getting back to soon enough. But hey, why not tune in and listen to awesome music, or just ask me questions, or hang out?

Gainfully Unemployed
Yesterday was my last day at my job.
Moving 200 miles means that the commute would be pretty terrible, especially without a car, so I gave my notice and yesterday was my last day. Hooray!
Doesn't mean I have a lot of free time, but I'll at least have some...until the actual moving thing happens. I want to spend at least some time next week coding, but I do also have to pack up my current apartment, get ready to go on a vacation that's been planned for 9 months, and finish a term that's been kind of jam-packed with difficult assignments at school. So I'll be able to put in a few hours, but not whole days, unfortunately.
As for this weekend, maybe Sunday. Today is not a good day for getting anything done.

Changing Gears
I'm streaming right now, but...it's not coding. It's Archer. I am coding, but not Cursed. Something...else.
I...don't know what the point of this post is?

All Good Things... (APRIL FOOLS)
Sorry folks, but this is going to be that kind of post.
Unfortunately, I just can't work on Cursed anymore. If it hasn't been obvious from the last few weeks, I just haven't had the time or the inclination to do so. I've been trying to tell myself that it's just a temporary thing, that my time will free up, but it hasn't happened, and I think I may have lost that creative spark that pushed me to work on Cursed whenever I could.
I know no one likes to hear about a game designer quitting before the project is done, but I have to be honest with myself, and the honest truth is that I just don't want to work on Cursed anymore. So, sadly and unfortunately, it's the end of the line.
But I have posted an unlocked version of Cursed for download, so that if someone wanted to actually try to finish off my massive pile of code, they can do that. You can download it here.
I might announce my next project here, but for now, I'm going to do what I've been doing, which is taking it easy and getting ready to move.
Edit: Of course it isn't real. If I give up now, the trolls have won. And you all know how I hate letting trolls win.
This next month or so WILL be horribly chaotic, because I am actually moving, and not a short distance either. But hopefully I'll still get some time (somewhere) to work on Cursed. And then it'll be May! And oh god, my birthday, nooooooo.
